And Last Is Best Of All The Game

Every culture has it's quirks. Some have more than others. Mine seems to have more than most. This is according to those who have politely denied an open invitation to join us in our weird and wonderful ways. Who wouldn't want to live like me, for I am a visiting teacher!

Visiting Teacher? Definition. One who is two, who visits without teaching. This cultural iconic adventure occurs on the last Sunday of each month. The only exception happens during the month of December when you must deliver the homemade treats much sooner.

The teaching is somewhat optional. This, however, is a well kept secret. Alice needn't know. Please show great discretion with this information! The laughter and fun is a normal consequence that spurs the next visit (on the next last Sunday.)

It's actually harder than it sounds, as those with whom I'm trying to visit are never home. (Did I enter Whomville correctly? Probably not, I'll now lose one day of electricity.) They are trying to catch their ladies at home, who are trying to catch their ladies at home, who are trying to catch their ladies at home, who are trying to catch their ladies at home. ................................. ......................................................

It's interesting that our ladies are never at home. With all the homemaking skills we must perfect, the scriptures that must be read, the lessons that need to be prepared, and all the good deeds that must be done for each family member (whew!), how can we ever leave? Hmmm.

hahaha! i love you kelly.
don't worry, i won't tell my mom on you. although i don't really think she'd care. at least you are visiting people and letting them know that you care about them! and i think that's the real point of it all anyways. :)
